Nissan is in the process of increasing production of its 2015 Nissan Rogue, thanks to a happy surprise. The automaker has found that 2015 Nissan Rogue demand is on the rise – resulting in higher-than-expected demand in North America for the year.

The automaker originally planned to export 80,000 Rogue crossovers from Renault’s South Korean factory, but have increased that number by a whopping 38% to 110,000 units. The increased demand can be attributed to the increase of overall sales of compact crossovers in the U.S. (up 20% in January compared to one year earlier, according to Automotive News), along with the Rogue’s desirable attributes.

The Rogue boasts high-tech connectivity features, modern safety systems, an appealing design, and an accommodating, comfortable, and spacious interior. Additionally, the Rogue is the only car in its class to offer a camera as advanced as the Around View Monitor, and the Driver Assist safety feature’s audio can be easily controlled with a simple in-dash switch.

The 2015 Nissan Rogue boasts the highest fuel economy among its competitors (26 mpg city and 33 mpg highway), making it ideal for long commutes or regular road trips. It also has more cargo space than any of its competitors, while the Active Trace Control and Ride Control allows the compact crossover to handle better, too.
