Nissan Rogue Trail Warrior Project

If your family adventures routinely involve sandy beaches, hot deserts, or snowy slopes, then the Nissan Rogue Trail Warrior Project would be your perfect adventure mobile. This concept was on display recently at the New York Auto Show.

From first glance, you can see that the Trail Warrior Project is ready for some serious terrain. Instead of tires, it comes equipped with a set of four impressive Dominator Tracks. These sand and snow-ready tracks are 48 inches long, 30 inches high, and 15 inches wide.

To fit these tracks on to the Rogue, Nissan had to modify the suspension and wheel wells. However, other than that, Nissan says this Rogue’s drivetrain components are stock. This includes the 170-horsepower, 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine.

To complete the rugged look, the Trail Warrior has a special camo exterior wrap and military-style yellow windows.

“This new Rogue Trail Warrior adds a new dimension to family adventures with its snow/sand tracks, gear basket, winch and camo paint,” said Michael Bunce, vice president, Product Planning, Nissan North America, Inc. “If you want to stand out from the crowd during a day on the slopes or the beach, this is the vehicle to take.”

Unfortunately, you won’t find the Rogue Trail Warrior Project for sale anywhere, but you can check out the 2017 Nissan Rogue right here at Carriage Nissan.
