2019 Nissan Rogue vs 2018 Nissan Rogue

Serving Gainesville, GA

Many people choose to join the Nissan family because of the quality level of comfort, safety, technology, and style which Nissan provides. As the years go on, Nissan keeps producing better and better vehicles with more technology for the money! The 2019 Rogue is no exception to this, surpassing its 2018 predecessor with some very striking differences. Let’s go over the many reasons why the 2019 Nissan Rogue is different from the 2018 Nissan Rogue.

Performance

The performance on the 2019 Rogue includes a 2.5-L, four-cylinder engine which allows for excellent gas mileage and 170 horsepower. A continually variable transmission, known as Xtronic CVT, allows for increased power when you need it. Intelligent All-Wheel Drive provides for better grip when road conditions become less than ideal. Hill Start Assist also negates slippage or roll-backs on hills on the 2019 Rogue, and a 7-inch touchscreen display allows for control of navigation performance, audio performance and more. The 2018 Rogue gets 27 mpg combined fuel mileage compared to 28 -29 mpg with the 2019 model, but does get the same 170 horsepower as the 2019 model.

Appearance

The 2018 Rogue and 2019 Rogue look nearly identical from the exterior, with some edgier and sportier body lines running down the sides of the vehicle. For the interior, a larger infotainment center display with larger, more modern buttons adorning the sides and a digital ventilation display are the only real differences in the 2019 model.

Features

Though both the 2018 and 2019 Nissan Rogues come in three different packages, (the S, SV, and SL), there are two brand new selections to choose from in 2019 with the Special Edition and Premium packages. The Rogue S models have the option to upgrade to Special Edition that includes rear privacy glass alloy rims that are 17” wide, heated front seats, chrome door handles and bars on the roof, leather gear shifters and, get this, heated side-view mirrors. Available only on the Rogue SV model is the Premium package. This includes slightly larger 18” rims, navigation with voice recognition, Intelligent Cruise Control, a satellite radio package, a heated leather steering wheel, an electronic parking brake, driver seat and side view memory for multiple drivers and Intelligent Around View monitor. The most significant difference in the Premium package is also the ProPILOT Assist package, which automatically integrates sensors to control the vehicle when drifting into other lanes, approaching a stop sign, and turning on brakes when needed. In full, ProPILOT includes Lane Departure, High Beam Assist, Auto Emergency Brakes, Lane Intervention and Rear Door Alert using sonar technology to tell you when you left something in the back seat, like your groceries or dry-cleaning. The 2018 Rogue also shares the Rear Door Alert feature with the 2019 model, in addition to ProPILOT Assist, Apple CarPlay an Android Auto, an engine that is four cylinders, Auto Emergency Braking, and the option for Front or All-Wheel Drive.

The Nissan Rogue has some incredible features which can only be fully understood by experiencing them in person. Carriage Nissan warmly invites you to contact or come down to the dealership at your convenience to become amazed and schedule a test drive of this incredible Nissan SUV!
