Nissan Titan Truckumentary to Debut at the Detroit Auto Show
Is that a documentary on the new Nissan Titan? No, sir, that is a bonifide ‘Truckumentary’. A ‘Truckumentary’ happens when Nissan reveals the design and engineering that went into producing the Nissan Titan. Right now, the first episode of the show is online, where Brent Hagan of Nissan North America gives us a taste of Nissan history.
In the beginning of this series, Hagan traces the Titan back through Nissan’s truck roots, all the way to the 1960 Datsun 1200. Hagan is a fitting host for the series, with a dedication to trucks that supersedes house and home:
“I learned to drive a truck when I could barely reach the pedals and will always keep one in my driveway. My lifestyle dictates the need for a truck and so my wife and I like to joke that if we ever bottom out financially, we’ll sell the house before our pickup,” says Brent Hagan.
Hagan visited the Lane Motor Museum in Nashville Tennessee to spin a tale about the 37 hp original Datsun, which was the first truck sold by Nissan in the United States. To learn more, watch the Nissan Titan Truckumentary series, and stay tuned for more updates here at Carriage Nissan.
