Nissan’s Midnight Edition Package Expands
Nissan released the Maxima Midnight Edition package last year to a whole heaping of praise and increased sales. Now, the Japanese automaker is expanding the Midnight Edition package to five more models across the lineup. The automaker openly admits it was surprised by the success of the package, leading to the announcement of an expansion prior to the Chicago Auto Show.
Nissan’s Midnight Edition package is expanding to include two more cars, the Sentra and Altima, as well as three crossovers and SUVs, namely the Rogue, Murano, and Pathfinder. The Maxima will continue to boast the available Midnight Edition package as well, bringing the total count to six vehicles.
In total, those six vehicles amount to more than 75% of Nissan’s total sales within the United States. Drivers have their choice of black, red, white, and grey paint colors. No matter what paint color the vehicles come in, the Midnight Edition package includes black side-view mirror cap and spoiler.
Nissan’s sales have already seen success in 2017 prior to the expansion of the Midnight Edition. So far, sales have topped 100,000 units in January alone, amounting to a 4% increase compared to the same time last year.
We here at Carriage Nissan are pumped for the new Midnight Edition models to hit the road!
