Tennessee Plant Revs up Production of New Nissan Maxima
If you were excited last month when we got our first glimpse of the redesigned Nissan Maxima, then you’ll be even more ecstatic to know that the new Nissan Maxima is now in production. The brand’s popular and elegant flagship sedan, sporting its new, more aggressive design, recently began production at Nissan’s assembly plant in Smyrna, Tennessee.
It’s an exciting step forward for the brand and a really impressive stylistic update for the Maxima as well—and the excitement about the new sedan spread all over the state of Tennessee. Governor Bill Haslam was even on hand to celebrate the start of production.
“With today’s launch, Nissan and Tennessee begin another chapter in their long and successful partnership defined by high-quality vehicles and the innovation of its workforce,” Haslam said. “We want to thank Nissan for continuing to invest here, helping build Tennessee’s reputation as a leading automotive manufacturing state.”
The all-new exterior is certainly getting most of the press, but the Maxima’s interior is vastly improved as well. It includes a seven-inch Advanced Drive Assist Display screen, optional heated/cooled front seats, a Bose audio system, Ascot leather upholstery, and more.
The Maxima will be rolling off the line and into our showroom soon, so come see us here at Carriage Nissan very soon.
