2018 Nissan Rogue
Every year, car manufacturers vie for coveted awards from organizations like U.S. News & World Report and J.D. Power. There seems to be an award for everything, such as “Lowest Maintenance Cost” or “Most Reliable.” We think the most important award a vehicle can garner is customer popularity, since this involves the exchange of hard-earned money. These are the three best-selling Nissan models, each one a certified winner in the eyes of consumers across the country.

Top-Selling Nissan Models

In recent sales figures, the top-selling Nissan models were the Nissan Rogue, Altima and Sentra. These nicely-equipped vehicles all set high standards for performance style, safety and value, and each offers excellent long-term reliability and resale value.

2018 Nissan Rogue

The fuel-efficient, compact Rogue is Nissan’s best seller, thanks to its exceptional stylishness, value, spaciousness and comfortability. Rogue is available with an optional third row, expanding the seat count to seven. You can get Rogue with either a 170-horsepower conventional engine or a 176-hp hybrid. New features for 2018 include Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, motione-activated tailgate and ProPilot Assist semi-autonomous technology.

2018 Nissan Altima

Always a sophisticated, sporty and comfortable sedan, Altima for 2018 now boasts new safety and convenience features. Automatic Emergency Braking, Active Understeer Control, and Intelligent Forward Collision Warning are standard, and Intelligent Cruise Control, Blind Spot Warning, and Cross Traffic Alert are low-cost options. The top engine is a 3.5-liter V6 making 270 horsepower and 251 lb-ft of torque, mated to an efficient continuously variable transmission. Altima also features a large trunk with 15.4 cubic feet of space.

2018 Nissan Sentra

Sentra is a perennial favorite for buyers looking for an affordable, roomy and fuel-efficient compact sedan. The sporty Sentra is available in many trims, including the high-performance Sentra Nismo and SR Turbo equipped with a 188-horsepower turbo-4 engine. For 2018, most models with automatic transmission get Automatic Emergency Braking as standard. Also standard this year are a 5-inch color screen and rearview monitor, while Sentra SV receives dual-zone climate control and 16-inch wheels.
